Upgrade to Stretch and latest news

Two days ago I updated the whole server to Debian's upcoming stable version 9 alias known as "Stretch". Here are the most important changes:

  • IPv6 ready: The website and most of the game servers are also reachable by IPv6 in addition to IPv4 now.
  • PokerTH is back: I have enabled the server again.
  • I have disabled the old Sauerbraten Justice Edition server. The Collect Edition has been out for several years now and it was time to say goodbye to the old unsupported version.
  • I have created a new Minetest v7 world. We use PostgreSQL as map backend now. Player accounts have been migrated to the new world if they were active during the last two months. Minehippie and MLGomme will restore important objects/creations via the WorldEdit mod in the near future. The old word isn't lost and the complete backup can be downloaded from dl.gambaru.de. Please be prepared that the compressed tar archive is quite big and you will need at least 20 GB of free disk space to unpack it on your system. Due to data protection reasons passwords and auth.txt have been removed.
